Air Jordan 31 Announcement
Yes, you did read the headline correctly, the next Air Jordan shoe has been announced. Sort of. Jordan brand aired a commercial during the ESPY awards show that was a re-air of the original Jordan 1 ad and the statement that the new Jordan signature shoe would be unveiled on July 20th at Jordan.com. The throwback to the Jordan 1 ad is supposed to be a nod to the shoe’s design, said to take heavy influence from Michael Jordan’s first signature sneaker. The only thing we have seen of the new shoes are some teaser images of the outer portions of the shoe covered up by blacked out rectangles, reminiscent of the Air Jordan 1 ad capitalizing on the fact that the Jordan 1 was banned from being worn on court. The Jordan 31 will at the very least be an intriguing shoe, and if it performs in the same realm as the Jordan XXX, then we should end up with a seriously cool looking shoe that performs at a high level. As of right now that is all of the info we have about the upcoming Jordan 31, stay tuned as we will share the news with you when it becomes available. Image via Sneakernews.
